We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, cleaning and possess skills in areas such as organization, time management, self-motivation and more!
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep facilities in a clean, tidy and safe condition, both indoors and outdoors
- Clearing snow and salting common areas as needed in the winter
- Tend to garbage and cardboard recycling in the warehouse and shop
- Empty hoppers
- General warehouse duties such as sweeping, housekeeping, packing and putting away supplies.
- Clean up and housekeeping of common areas in Shop, Warehouse and Metal Shop
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance
- Proven ability in maintenance activities
- Understanding of health and safety requirements in fabrication shop/warehouse
- Forklift experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Hours 7:00 – 4:30
