We are looking for an experienced Metal Shop Lead Hand who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  Bring your experience as a lead and your skills in metal fabrication where you’ll be fabricating aluminum for trade show exhibits and museums.

Responsibilities: 

• Read and interpret technical drawings, determine materials required
• Measure, cut, shape metal (mainly aluminum fabrication)using appropriate tools and equipment 

Weld or bolt sections together
Verify accuracy of finished product
Assembly to test fitment and packing for shipping 

• Collaborate in fabrication discussions and provide take offs for materials
• Manage 1-2 other staff members
• Manage inventory and order stock items
• Allocate material costs to jobs
• Ongoing maintenance of metal shop equipment
• Forklift and scissor lift certification required

About you:
•    Seven+ years metal shop experience
•    Ability to TIG weld and read technical drawings
•    Dedicated team-player
