The Opportunity
We are looking for a Director of Construction Management to lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of high-profile, complex permanent installation, museum, and branded environment projects from contract award through final closeout.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can bring order, clarity, and momentum to complex projects and management of stakeholder expectations. You provide senior oversight of project managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with contractual, design, and brand experience requirements.
The ideal candidate is a practical, solutions-focused construction leader who can balance the details of execution with the bigger picture of client experience, commercial performance, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the full construction management lifecycle for museums, permanent installations, and branded environment projects.
- Guide projects from contract award through pre-construction, design development, value engineering, procurement, fabrication, site readiness, installation, and closeout.
- Provide senior-level escalation support when schedules, budgets, scope, design intent, client expectations, subcontractor performance, or site conditions require decisive action.
What You’ll Bring
- Senior-level experience leading complex construction, interiors, museum, exhibit, branded environment, architectural millwork, or specialty installation projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, contracts, schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractor management, site logistics, safety, quality, and closeout requirements.
- Proven ability to lead project managers, coordinators, subcontractors, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Excellent judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build trust with clients, consultants, senior leaders, and project teams.
Why Join Us
- Lead distinctive, high-profile projects that combine construction, storytelling, design, fabrication, and technology.
- Work with talented interdisciplinary teams that bring ambitious environments from concept to completion.
- Play a senior leadership role in improving project delivery, team effectiveness, client satisfaction, and business performance.
- Join a company known for creating spaces that are built to be experienced, remembered, and talked about.
